We depart from your selected pick-up point and travel to Strawberry Field, the award-winning Liverpool heritage attraction focuses on wellbeing, nature and responsible tourism, and is forever renowned as the place where John Lennon found solace as a child playing in the gardens. Strawberry Field is also a unique addition to Beatles tourism.
The site comprises an interactive visitor exhibition (media guide/languages), the historic peaceful gardens with the original iconic red gates, bandstand and Ukraine Peace Monument, Imagine More Café and Shop. The cafe offers seasonal dishes made using locally-sourced ingredients. Visitors can sit inside or outside both have views of the gardens. It’s also easy to buy a takeaway hot or cold drink to enjoy while wandering around the gardens.
Music has returned to the gardens of Strawberry Field with the new ‘Strawberry Field Forever’ bandstand. The technologically advanced bandstand is based on the drum featured on The Beatles’ iconic album cover, Sgt.Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. As well as this, the bass drum shape is a playful nod to the marching bands of The Salvation Army.
After our visit to Strawberry Fields the coach will take you into Liverpool to enjoy some free time. Then after a wonderful day we will leave Liverpool at approx. 4pm and make our journey home.
