DAY ONE – Arrival

We depart from your home and travel to Llanelli arriving late afternoon you will have time to relax before dinner this evening.

 

DAY TWO – Tenby

Today we travel to Tenby enjoying the day in this well-known town with its warm atmosphere and Victorian houses. Experience the friendly harbour, relax, and unwind on one of the three fantastic beaches or simply sit and watch the world go by. There is an array of delightful shops to browse and restaurants, pubs, and tea rooms to obtain lunch.

 

DAY THREE – National Botanic Garden of Wales and Carmarthen

Today we visit the National Botanic Garden of Wales, nestled in the Tywi Valley, the garden combines themed displays, rolling parkland and secluded woodland. The award-winning Great Glasshouse is home to a profusion of rare, fragrant, exotic, and spooky plants. There is a restaurant to obtain lunch and refreshments, and don’t forget the stunning walled garden. We’ll then visit Carmarthen, one of Wales’s oldest towns before we make our way back to our hotel.

 

DAY FOUR – Gower Peninsula and Mumbles

Today we admire the beauty of the Gower Peninsula and the Mumbles.  We visit the Gower Heritage Centre in a converted water mill where a guide will join the coach for a tour of the peninsula’s highlights before returning for an included cream tea or Welsh Cawl (soup/broth) and tour of the mill. We then visit Swansea, take in the waterfront, and the maritime quarter before we continue back to our hotel.

 

DAY FIVE – Departure

After breakfast this morning we leave our hotel and make our journey home with comfort stops en route.
