Marching bands and military demonstrations against the backdrop of floodlight Edinburgh Castle makes this Tattoo an exciting spectacle. A fabulous display of Marchers, Dancers and Bandsmen, entertain the crowd from the moment 'the Voice of the Castle' brings the audience together. You will be amazed and enthralled right through to the Grand Finale and the Lone Piper bringing the evening to an end.

DAY ONE – Arrival

We depart from your home and travel to Loch Lomond late afternoon you will have time to relax before dinner this evening.

 

DAY TWO – Kelpies, Edinburgh and Edinburgh Tattoo

We spend the morning relaxing in Drymen.  The hotel will provide us with a packed lunch to take with us today.  At lunchtime we will leave the village to visit the famous Kelpies the largest equine sculpture in the world. We then continue onto Edinburgh with free time to wander through the streets and have an evening meal. Then onto the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, where an exciting evening awaits us! On our return to the hotel there will be a snack waiting for us.

 

Please note: There is an uphill walk to access the castle which some may considered difficult for those with mobility issues, also steps up to the seating.  Please consider this before booking.

 

DAY THREE – Stirling

This morning we head for Stirling, now a thriving modern city with great shopping, and excellent restaurants. However, it is still full of history, and Stirling Castle is well worth a visit, if you decide to take a look.

 

DAY FOUR – Departure

After breakfast this morning we leave our hotel and make our journey home with comfort stops en route.
