Pendennis Castle | St Ives | Lands End | Tate St Ives Museum | Penzance
We depart from your home for your journey to Cornwall, arriving at your hotel late afternoon, time to relax before dinner.
Today we visit St Ives, well no visit to Cornwall would be complete without a stop here, would it? Youll have time to explore one of the most popular towns to visit in Cornwall. Boasting fabulous beaches, excellent galleries, a stunning harbour and the most charming shops and restaurants, it's a real cultural haven.
We will also be visiting Tate Modern Art Museum. You will discover 100 years of art, celebrating how West Cornwall has welcomed and inspired artists and revealing new connections to artists from around the world, including Barbara Hepworth.
Before we return to our hotel we will make our way to Lands End, one of Britains best loved landmarks, famous for its unique location, natural beauty, and stunning scenery.
Once upon a time, the beautiful port town of Penzance was the hidden gem of West Cornwall. But today Penzance is a place rightly celebrated as the hottest destination in all of Cornwall. With award-winning restaurants and cafes to win your heart and a range of independent shops and galleries packed to the brim with quirky, artsy charm.
Soak in the atmosphere of the famous Promenade, tropical gardens, and historic streets.
This morning we make our way to Pendennis Castle. Let your imagination run wild as you explore the mighty Pendennis Castle. Winding stone staircases, atmospheric gun rooms and turrets make it all too easy to imagine youre back in the 16th century. Climb to the top of the keep and take a moment to enjoy 360-degree panoramas across Falmouth, breathing in fresh, sea air. You will travel back to Tudor Cornwall, discover poignant tales of wartime, and enjoy acres of green space at this historic gem (Please Note: The Café may be closed due to refurbishments taking place). Well then have some time in Falmouth before we return to our hotel.
