Today we visit Biddulph Grange Garden and Nantwich. This quirky masterpiece from the great age of Victorian gardening offers a surprising global journey – from the Italian terrace to an Egyptian pyramid, via the Himalayan glen and Chinese-inspired garden, plus lots of seasonal colours.
There’s so much to do with your friends on a visit to Biddulph Grange Garden. This Grade I listed masterpiece is one of the most exciting survivals of the great age of Victorian gardening. The garden is laid out so that the visitor is led from one area to another in a journey of discovery and exploration.
*Please note there are 400 steps throughout the garden.
After our visit to Biddulph Grange Garden we make our way to Nantwich a pretty medieval market town with a modern edge.
Situated on the banks of the River Weaver, Nantwich is famous for the medieval timbered buildings dotted around the town. Stroll through the atmospheric streets and visit for bijoux boutiques, antiques dealers and contemporary craft shops.
