DAY ONE – Arrival

We depart from your home and travel to Scotland arriving late afternoon; you will have time to relax before dinner this evening.

 

DAY TWO – Edinburgh and The Edinburgh Dungeon

This morning we head for Edinburgh for a fright-filled adventure through Scotland’s past with tickets to the Edinburgh Dungeon. The rest of the day is yours to explore Edinburgh.

 

DAY THREE – Inveraray and Inveraray Jail

Today we visit Inveraray.  Step back in time to a 19th Century prison, Inveraray Jail. Experience what real life was like for men, women, and children, some as young as seven, who were tried and locked up here. Explore the atmospheric historic buildings and meet costumed characters who animate the past in this unique living museum.

 

DAY FOUR – Stirling Castle

Our excursion today takes us to Stirling Castle, one of Scotland’s grandest castles due to its imposing position and impressive architecture. The Scenery will take your breath away. It’s rich with history, has superb architecture and there are many different attractions within its walls.

 

DAY FIVE – Departure

After breakfast this morning we leave our hotel and make our journey home with comfort stops en route.

WINNOCK HOTEL, DRYMEN

Nestling around the village green in Drymen, sensitively extended and refurbished, but retaining its traditional bars and log fires. The Winnock has 74 bedrooms all with excellent facilities. The hotel does not have a lift; however, ground floor rooms are available on request.

If no single supplement applies this is limited to the tour single room allocation and therefore additional cost may apply.  Prices displayed are per person unless otherwise stated.
