From £25
Join us for a fascinating autumn day out to the historic Ironbridge Gorge the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution.
Nestled in the beautiful Severn Valley in Shropshire, Ironbridge is often called the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution. The town takes its name from the worlds first cast-iron bridge, completed in 1779, which still proudly spans the River Severn today. This remarkable structure transformed travel and trade in the 18th century and stands as a symbol of Britains industrial heritage.
Today you can explore the charming town that changed the world, visiting its iconic cast-iron bridge, enjoying riverside views, and visiting delightful shops and museums.
For those who wish to extend their experience, theres an optional visit to Blists Hill Victorian Town, where costumed characters, vintage shops, and traditional crafts transport you back to the sights and sounds of the 19th century.
With its rich heritage and autumn scenery, this is a day out not to be missed!
