On this singles tour to Devon, we visit Christmas markets, great coastal towns, scenic landscapes and have plenty of time to explore and relax. Perhaps pick up a last-minute Christmas gift or simply watch the world go by during this short break.

DAY ONE – Arrival

We depart from your home and travel to Devon arriving late afternoon you will have time to relax before dinner this evening.

 

DAY TWO – Torquay and Paignton

Today we travel to Torquay. Enjoy a stroll around the harbour or explore the town and have a bite to eat for lunch in one of many cafes. This afternoon we then visit Paignton, another coastal resort known for its pier and long esplanade.

 

DAY THREE – Plymouth and Plymouth Hoe Fireworks Display

Remember, remember the fifth of November!

 

Today you have a day at leisure in Plymouth, to explore the town.  The city centre is just a ten-minute walk to the centre.

 

We have then arranged for an early dinner for you this evening so that you can join the crowds to see the Plymouth Hoe Fireworks display. 

 

Make your way to the iconic Smeaton’s Tower lighthouse for the best views of the bonfire, which will be lit at 7pm. Feel the warmth of the roaring flames as you gather around, then at 7.30pm, prepare to be wowed! The skies will explode with a stunning fireworks display launched from the historic Royal Citadel. Expect an incredible show of rockets, fountains, and crackling firecrackers lighting up the night.

 

DAY FOUR – Dartmoor National Park and Exeter

This morning we start with a scenic drive over Dartmoor National Park, taking in the pretty landscapes as we pass through Princetown and Moreton Hampstead en route to today’s destination - Exeter.

 

In Exeter, we have the rest of the day to explore. Why not visit Exeter Cathedral.

 

DAY FIVE – Departure

After breakfast this morning we leave our hotel and make our journey home with comfort stops en route.
