We are pleased to include on all our holidays of 4 days or more an exclusive door to door pick-up service, so your holiday will start the moment you leave your front door.  There is also an optional home pick-up available on all short breaks of 3 days.

Travelling Alone?

If you are a single traveller there’s no need to worry, our passengers tell us that they may join the coach as strangers but they always leave as friends. We try where possible to include holidays that have no single supplement to pay however these places do go fast so it’s advisable to book your place early. Once the single rooms have been allocated; an unavoidable supplement may need to be paid.

 

Low Deposit

When you book with us we ask for a low deposit of only £60 per person, depending on the date of your holiday. For further afield holidays, such as Jersey the deposit is £150 per person, paid upon booking. If you have a particular question regarding deposits please call us on 01352 733292.

 

ATOL Protected

Jones Holidays act as a retail agent for Destinations Ltd ATOL 9503 for all Jersey & Guernsey holidays. The ATOL scheme exists to protect consumers if their travel organiser should fail. It ensures consumers are not stranded abroad or do not lose money paid to the travel organiser for holidays and flights.

 

The first ATOL Regulations requiring businesses to hold a licence were introduced in the 1970’s. Since then they have been replaced with new regulations in 1995 and again in 2012.

 

Financial Guarantee

Bonded Coach Holidays safeguards your money in the unlikely event that your BCH tour operator ceases trading. You are guaranteed repayment of monies paid. It also ensures the completion of your holiday if it has already started.

 

Each BCH member is required to provide a bond from a bank or major insurance company to BCH. This bond is used to refund your money or to allow you to complete your holiday if already started. BCH also has an insurance policy available to cover unlikely situations where a members bond does not cover all the refunds.

 

BCH is a consumer protection scheme approved by the government under the The Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations 1992 and the EU Package Travel Regulations to safeguard your money. When booking a package coach holiday (involving coach travel and accommodation of at least one overnight stay), be it in the UK or abroad.

 

The EU Package Travel Regulations offer protection to consumers when booking package holidays. Tour operators have a legal obligation to provide such protection and failure to do so is a criminal offence. For more information please visit www.bch-uk.org/

 

Our Price Promise

We will not increase the price of your holiday, and if the holiday is contractually reduced after you have booked it with us, we will refund you the difference.

 

Jones Green Credentials

Environmental pollution, and the vehicle emissions that contribute to it, has had a major impact on the world we live in, we are pleased to support the environment.

• Our coaches are Euro 5 or Euro 6 standard.  Euro 5 & Euro 6 are the European Union directives to reduce harmful pollutants from vehicle exhausts.

• A coach is the cleanest form of transport and six times less pollutant than a plane, per passenger mile.

• A coach carrying 50 passengers is the equivalent of removing 10 cars from the road, and takes up only the space of two.

• Electronic communications eliminate the need to use paper in all but necessary communications.

• Electronic brochures, which are available on our website, reduce the amount of paper we use for production and the environmental impact of delivery.

• Our Eco Polylope is bio-degradable and will not harm the environment.
