YOUR ITINERARY
We depart mid-morning from your selected pick-up point and travel north to Salford Quays, Manchester arriving around lunch time. Free time to enjoy all that Salford Quays has to offer, with the Imperial War Museum North and The Lowry which is an astonishing building and a shrine to all things art, with galleries, theatres, workshops, cafes and shops. There is also the Salford Quays heritage trail – a self-guided walk should you choose to discover a little of the history. If its shopping you like then the Quays is a mecca for the discerning shopper with big-name brand shops and stores offering discount prices.
We then make our way to RHS Bridgewater (approx. 30 minutes away) to arrive there at 3.30pm in time to explore a little – perhaps some festive shopping or a hot drink in the café before the lights are switched on at 5.00pm for an unmissable after-dark spectacle of lights. See the garden in breathtaking beauty as amazing illuminations light your way as you walk through the spectacular RHS Glow trail. Don’t forget to wrap up warm and have some good walking shoes on.
We will leave at approx. 6.30pm to make our journey home.
