DAY ONE – Arrival

We depart from your home and travel to Somerset arriving late afternoon you will have time to relax before dinner this evening.

 

DAY TWO – Minehead

Today you have a day at leisure to enjoy Minehead, with its mix of Victorian architecture and modern touches, serves as the perfect backdrop to kick-start your festive spirit. Explore the seaside town's traditional shops, wander along the picturesque promenade or simply relax at the hotel.

 

DAY THREE – Dunster and Sheppy’s Cider Farm Tour

This morning we visit Dunster, Dunster, a fairy-tale village that exudes medieval charm. Traverse its time-worn streets lined with ancient cottages and lichen-aged shops. Dunster Castle, perched on a hill, surveys the village like a silent sentinel, offering a glimpse into England's rich history while giving sensational views of the Exmoor National Park.

 

No trip to Somerset is complete without a taste of its heritage, so we next visit Sheppy's Cider Farm, a testament to tradition. Here, you’ll experience the craftsmanship of award-winning ciders and explore the apple orchards that birth this golden beverage. Savour the taste of locally produced cider, knowing you're imbibing centuries of tradition with every sip. The cider tasting package will be followed by Cream Tea.

 

DAY FOUR – North Devon Coast Drive

This morning we drive along spellbinding North Devon Coast. Breathtaking vistas of rugged cliffs plunging into the foaming sea will accompany your exploration. This untouched piece of coastline is a sanctuary for wildlife and provides panoramic views that stretch all the way to Wales on a clear day. We’ll visit Lynton & Lynmouth and then onto the resort of Ilfracombe, before making our way inland and back to Minehead via Tiverton.

 

DAY FIVE – Departure

After breakfast this morning we leave our hotel and make our journey home with comfort stops en route.
