DAY ONE – Arrival

We depart from your home and travel to East Devon arriving late afternoon you will have time to relax before dinner this evening.

 

DAY TWO – River Exe Cruise and The World of Country Life

Today we begin with a cruise on the River Exe there are some stunning views on both sides of the river we have a running commentary from the captain as we enjoy the scenery.

 

From here we visit The World of Country Life Centre we have time for lunch then visit the attractions within Hall of Transport featuring over a century of history in motion. Reg Imray’s collection of unique award-winning vehicles. Museum of Farming memories from yesteryear which are still operational.

 

DAY THREE –Seaton Tramway and The Donkey Sanctuary

After a leisurely breakfast today we visit the Seaton Tramway with some stunning views of different variety of birds a paradise for bird watchers. Maybe Visit the Museum on the station.  Before your return journey why not try a cream tea on the station at Colyton.

 

Later we visit the Famous Donkey Sanctuary the history of how this was set up is amazing you can listen to the talks explaining all about the sanctuary and how they work with other countries all over the world. It’s a must visit.   

 

DAY FOUR – Bicton Park & Botanical Gardens and Sidmouth

Today we visit Bicton Park and Botanical Gardens. Here is a unique class of trees, from all over the world, flowers, Palm house contains many rare Palms, the Tropical house with exotic blooms the Arid house the worlds strangest plants. Have a stroll around the beautiful gardens or maybe optional catch the train which takes you around the beautiful gardens. From here we visit Sidmouth, with free time before we return to our hotel.

 

DAY FIVE – Departure

After breakfast this morning we leave our hotel and make our journey home with comfort stops en route.
