DAY ONE – Arrival

We depart from your home and travel to Scotland arriving late afternoon you will have time to relax before dinner this evening.

 

DAY TWO – Clydeside Distillery Tour and Glasgow

This morning we head for the Clydeside Distillery for a tour, and perhaps you might pick up a Christmas treat. We then have some free time in Glasgow where the festive light adorns the city centre.

We’ll return to the hotel for dinner and entertainment this evening.

 

DAY THREE – Christmas Eve

After our full Scottish breakfast this morning we’ll take a tour of the Trossachs, with spectacular scenery and after a relaxing day we’ll return to our hotel for dinner, and if you would like you can attend Midnight Mass.

 

DAY FOUR – Christmas Day

Merry Christmas – You’ll enjoy a full Scottish breakfast this morning, and maybe relax in front of the log fires, a visit from Santa might be on the cards, if you’ve been good. Enjoy a traditional Christmas Lunch and the King’s Speech followed by afternoon tea and Christmas cake, carol singers and evening entertainment follow with a buffet dinner.

 

DAY FIVE – Boxing Day

Today we take a drive to blow away the cobwebs and visit Inveraray, on the western shore of Loch Fyne. The town has a long history and many Georgian buildings and a neoclassical church. We’ll return to our hotel with time to relax before our Scottish candle-lit dinner this evening and traditional ceilidh.

 

DAY SIX - Departure

After breakfast this morning we leave our hotel and make our journey home with comfort stops en route.

A restored former coaching inn situated in the heart of Drymen, family owned and run and complete with all the facilities that you would need for a truly relaxing break.  Bedrooms are tastefully decorated and complete with TV, hairdryer, tea/coffee making facilities.  Hotel also has cosy lounges and many with open log fires, restaurant, and public bar – no lift but ground floor rooms available subject to availability.

If no single supplement applies this is limited to the tour single room allocation and therefore additional cost may apply.  Prices displayed are per person unless otherwise stated. Issues whilst on tour must be raised in the first instance with the driver. Covid-19 restrictions may apply. When making bookings you accept on behalf of yourself and your party the terms in our Trading Charter which can be found in our brochure, on our website at http://www.jonesholidays.co.uk/Jones-holidays-trading-charter, or a copy can be requested from our Sales office.  If your holiday is more than 56 days from departure, we offer a 7-day cooling off period where a full refund will be offered from the date of the initial confirmation invoice (with the exception of flight holidays).
