Join us for a special festive weekend break visiting the Canterbury Christmas markets that are spectacularly overlooked by the city’s historic cathedral. The tour also calls in the pretty postcard village of Chilham and the city of Rochester.

DAY ONE – Arrival
We depart from your selected pick-up point and travel to Chatham arriving late afternoon you will have time to relax before dinner this evening.
DAY TWO – Chilham and Canterbury
Our first visit this morning is the lovely picture postcard village of Chilham. The village is situated on the former pilgrims’ route to Canterbury, now known as the North Downs Way and the half-timbered houses in the square were all part of the castle estate. The castle itself has been the location for several TV films and programmes.
After a short stay, we continue to Canterbury itself. The city is dominated by the magnificent cathedral. The Christmas market is underway with traders lining the streets of Whitefriars, St Georges Street and Rose Lanes displaying festive food, drinks, and crafts. Festively dressed entertainers are on hand to add to the festive atmosphere.
DAY THREE – Rochester and Departure
This morning we depart the hotel for the final time. Before we head for home, we make the short journey to the city of Rochester with its magnificent cathedral and historic castle. Take a stroll along High Street and explore the old town and cobbled streets. Later we continue our journey home.
