Chatsworth is located on the bank of the River Derwent and surrounded by a massive area of idyllic parkland and woodland. The jewel in the Peak Districts crown a magnificent stately home that has been loved and occupied by the Cavendish family for generations.
Discover more about the autumnal plants and stories behind them as you explore the garden it has 105 acres! We also include entrance to the House, home to the Devonshire family, passed down through 16 generations.
The house boasts a wealth of interesting art, furniture and antiques as well as exceptional architecture throughout several of its stunning rooms. It holds major collections of paintings, furniture, Old Master drawings, neoclassical sculptures, and books. A must-see at Chatsworth House is the amazing Devonshire Collection, which displays an array of interesting items from the familys personal collections.
*Please Note: The house is based on three floors that are made accessible by a lift. The garden, farmyard and park are accessible with certain restrictions.
Chatsworth House & Gardens
We depart from your selected pick-up point and travel through the Peak District to Chatsworth House. You can enjoy the Autumnal experience of the gardens as well as the House. Timed entry into the House is at 12:30hrs. Enjoy some refreshments in the cafés or restaurant, theres something for everyone.
