DAY ONE – Arrival

We depart from your home and travel to Kent arriving late afternoon you will have time to relax before dinner this evening.

 

DAY TWO – Leeds Castle

Today as you step through the gates of Leeds Castle, get ready for an experience to remember. Not your usual Castle, there’s so much to see we spend the day here.

 

There are over 900 years of glamorous history, lavish parties, and strong women. Don’t expect forts and military, you will experience heritage created by those who are visionary. Those who have crafted remarkable experiences, from the 9th century to the 20th century.

 

Leeds Castle has been designed over the centuries to entertain, to be a haven for all. Step back in time to experience the cinematic history of queens from the Middle Ages, as they share their untold stories, in their own voices.

 

With glorious scenery, and wonderful autumn colours you can also discover the scents, wildlife, and grounds of the 500 acres of parkland.

 

DAY THREE – Port Lympne Safari Park

An unforgettable day out for you today as we visit Kent’s largest wild animal park.  Home to over 900 rare and endangered animals including the largest herd of black rhino in the UK, big cats, small cats, primates, and brand-new animals including the only spectacled bear in the country.

 

DAY FOUR – Kent Life Heritage Farm Park

Set in 28 acres of distinctive Kent countryside, Kent Life offers a stunning historical record of rural life in the ‘Garden of England’.

 

Today you step back in time as you explore our collection of historic buildings saved from demolition and carefully reassembled at Kent Life – and meet the colourful characters that lived and worked here.

 

Stroll through the gardens; discover what herbs you would find in a traditional farm kitchen garden, explore the last hand-picked hop garden in the country, and see the only working coal fired Oast House in Britain. Ramble along the wildlife discovery trail or just take time to explore the orchard.

 

Refresh the sense and relax in the light and bright Dotty’s Tea Room, why not treat yourself to a homemade cake amidst the wonderful 1950’s themed surroundings.

 

DAY FIVE – Departure

After breakfast this morning we leave our hotel and make our journey home with comfort stops en route.
